FAQs

If only there was a magical answer for this popular question! We can't give you an exact date because every pregnancy develops differently, but you typically have about two weeks from when your clothing begins to feel snug to when people start wishing you b'sha'a tova.

We can't really understand why you wouldn't want to buy more clothing, but a good rule of thumb is to choose items that will fit you best in the second trimester. They'll fit in the third trimester too, except possibly at the very end of your pregnancy. Also, many of our pieces are made with adjustable designs so you can fit them to whichever trimester you're in. Yep, it's that easy!
It's not the dress; it's what's underneath it. Maternity shells are really important -- both in providing proper coverage, and in ensuring the best fit. If your shell is too small, the drape of the outer garment will be off, and it'll pull and cling in all the wrong places. Don't ruin a good dress with a bad shell!
